Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of CompetitorPulse ("the service"), operated at competitorpulse.xyz. By signing up, you agree to these terms.
The service
CompetitorPulse monitors publicly available competitor signals (pricing pages, review platforms, job boards, blogs) and delivers a weekly email digest. We do not access private, authenticated, or password-protected content.
Your account
- You are responsible for keeping your account email accurate
- One account per person or company
- You may track up to 5 competitor URLs per account on the current plan
- You must be 13 or older to use the service
Free trial
New accounts get a 14-day free trial with no credit card required. At the end of the trial, your account will prompt you to subscribe at $39/month. If you do not subscribe, monitoring stops.
Payments and cancellation
Billing is monthly via Stripe. You can cancel at any time by emailing hello@competitorpulse.xyz or using the customer portal at competitorpulse.xyz/portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We offer a prorated refund if you cancel within 30 days of your first paid charge.
Acceptable use
You may not use the service to:
- Monitor non-public or authenticated content
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or copy the service itself
- Resell or redistribute digest content without permission
What we do with competitor data
We collect publicly available data from competitor websites, G2/Capterra, and job boards to generate your digest. We do not store raw scraped content beyond what is needed to generate your weekly report and detect changes week over week.
Disclaimer
The service provides publicly available information as a monitoring tool. We are not responsible for business decisions you make based on the digest. Competitor intelligence is useful but not infallible — pricing pages change, job postings get taken down, and AI-generated summaries may contain errors. Verify critical information before acting on it.
Service availability
We aim for high uptime but do not guarantee 100% availability. If the service is down for an extended period, we will contact affected customers.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email before they take effect.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the state of California, USA.
