CompetitorPulse ("we," "us," "our") operates competitorpulse.xyz. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
What we collect
When you sign up for a free trial or paid subscription, we collect:
- Email address — required to send your weekly digest and account notifications
- Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
- Product and competitor URLs — what you tell us to monitor, stored in your Stripe customer record
- Usage data — basic analytics on page visits (no cross-site tracking)
How we use your data
- Send your weekly competitor digest every Monday
- Send account emails (trial start, trial end, billing receipts)
- Monitor the competitor URLs you provided
- Improve the service
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with third parties except as needed to operate the service (Stripe for payments, email infrastructure for delivery).
By signing up, you consent to receive the weekly digest and transactional emails related to your account. You can cancel at any time by emailing hello@competitorpulse.xyz or using the unsubscribe link in any email.
Cookies
We use a minimal session cookie to support the Stripe checkout flow. No tracking cookies, no ad pixels.
Data retention
Your data is stored in Stripe as long as your account is active. If you cancel, your Stripe customer record is retained per Stripe's standard retention policy (required for financial compliance). Email us to request deletion of any data we hold.
Third-party services
- Stripe — payment processing and subscription management. Stripe's privacy policy
- Vercel — hosting. Handles standard web traffic logs.
- Google Gemini API — used to generate digest summaries. We do not send personally identifiable information to the API.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. Email hello@competitorpulse.xyz.
Security
We use HTTPS everywhere. Payment data never touches our servers. We apply rate limiting and input validation on all endpoints.
